There’s some great trans-related spoken word monologues up on YouTube at the moment from the National Queer Arts Festival’s TransForming Community project. I’d already seen Julia Serano’s, which is brilliant - she’s just on fire there - but there’s others there from lesser known folks which are brilliant. I could only watch a couple of videos because my connection is terrible, but Drakyn has some of the highlights over at his blog. Take a look if you get a chance - I rarely watch, let alone recommend video because it’s such a pain for me to watch - but this stuff is good.
