I don't know, I don't mind people going "oh, you're that one, I've read your blog"; it's just people I know well reading it and not telling me that bugs me. I'm specifically pissed about one of them who didn't realise that my post on queerness wasn't really a good topic to give me shit about... I've gotten to the point now though, where I assume that if they know my name, they are about to google me, and if they haven't read my blog, they will within the next 24 hours. :) Its a bit paranoid, but it means I don't get as creeped out as I did the first time I was talking to someone and they said "Oh, you are THAT Ryan. I've read your blog." Sometimes I wonder how that will effect my going stealth. Facebook tends to be where my Real Life and Online Life crash into one another, so breaking that connection will probably be the first step when I go stealth. I just wanted to make that clear, anyway. No worries - you evidently weren’t the only one, judging by the trolling comments I moderated from some of Rodney Croome’s fans. This post is specifically about people who I know in real life reading my blog, since I don't want to get to the point where I start to self-censor. I don't care who people are if they don't know me personally. Huh?

I found ya through links from Feministe re: the recent controversy. Just to say, I think your desire to know your readers/lurkers is a bit of a pipe dream, given how active you are on prominent issues and how the net generally works (lurkers greatly outnumber participants). But I guess it doesn't hurt to ask! I’m a 29 y.o. chick from the USA. I found ya through links from Feministe re: the recent controversy.
