The Down Under Feminist Carnival

Lauredhel at Hoyden About Town has posted a call for submissions for the first Down Under Feminist Blog Carnival. I’m really happy to see this finally getting going. I’m really interested in seeing greater cooperation among feminist bloggers over here, and getting more networking happening on local issues when it’s needed, and I think this is a pretty good start. It probably should have been over here, but this blogger is lazy and still hadn’t gotten around to it like two months after we discussed the idea. It’s great to see that Lauredhel’s gotten around to doing it, anyway.
The only requirements are that the author be from either Australia or New Zealand and that the content be feminist in nature, defined broadly. If that applies to you, please go and submit stuff and help this get going!
